Scholarship Details for Senior High

Portal Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Applicant must be among the top 4 students in high school graduating and with a general average of 88% with no grade below 80% in any subject, belonging to a class of at least 25 graduates.
  2. The family annual income of the applicant should preferably not more than Php 250,000.00.
  3. Willing to render 80 work hours per semester in the University Offices.

Aid to Minister’s Children

Criteria:

  1. Applicant must have a high school general average of 85% or better with no grade below 80% in any subject.
  2. Willing to render two (2) hours per week in the University Church.
  3. Willing to participate actively in Pastor Kid’s (PK) activities.

Application Requirements

New Applicant/s:

  1. Accomplished application form. On a separate sheet of paper briefly write an essay about yourself, your goals in life and why you need this special scholarship and what it will mean to you if granted. 
  2. Photocopy of Form 138 (High school grade of 88% or better with no grade below 80%).
  3. Certification of honor/graduation rank from the High School Principal reflecting the number of students in the graduating class.
  4. Latest income tax return or Certification as non-filer from the local BIR of both parents.
  5. Recommendations from two (2) uninterested reliable persons from his/her community but not politicians and relatives, stating the economic condition of the family. 
  6. Certification from the District Conference stating that her/his parent/s are practicing pastor/s to a local church (state the name & location of the church ) and the duration of the appointment. (for UCCP Pastor's children)

Rolando Villanueva Del Carmen Academic Excellence Scholarship for Senior High

Criteria:

A candidate should be:
1. A Junior High School graduate belonging to the top 4 of the graduating class with a general average of at least 93% with no grade below 85% in any subject.
2. Belonging to a class of at least 25 graduates for Science High Schools and 100 graduates for the regular High Schools.
3. Family annual income must not exceed P70,000 (or its equivalent for tax exemption) or family is a recipient of the 4 P’s program as certified by the Department Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
4. At least four (4) children in the family unless recipient of the 4 P’s program.
5. Preferably the first child in the family to possibly get a college education.

 


Scholarship Details for College Students

General Criteria:

  1. Applicant must belong to the top 10% of the graduating high school class and must possess a grade average of not less than 88% with no grade below 80%.
  2. The family annual income of the applicant preferably not more than Php 250,000.00.
  3. Applicant is willing to enroll in a priority course subscribed by the university.

Application Requirements

New Applicant/s:

  1. Accomplished application form. On a separate sheet of paper briefly write an essay about yourself, your goals in life and why you need this special scholarship and what it will mean to you if granted. 
  2. Photocopy of Form 138 (High school grade of 88% or better with no grade below 80%).

Continuing Applicants:

  1. Accomplished application form. On a separate sheet of paper briefly write an essay about yourself, your goals in life and why you need this special scholarship and what it will mean to you if granted.
  2. Certified TQPA of 2.5 or better
  3. Latest income tax return or Certification as non-filer from the local BIR of both parents.
  4. Endorsement from the College Dean.
  5. Certification from the District Conference stating that her/his parent/s are practicing pastor/s to a local church (state the name & location of the church ) and the duration of the appointment. (for UCCP Pastor's children)

Note: New and continuing scholar must submit his/her official class schedule to the SSAD office right after enrolling.
